Radiant Jewellery Emblem of Independence and Hope The Suffragette Brooch
Step into history with this enchanting handmade brooch, a symbol of the suffragette movement and women's independence. The brooch features a charming doll face painted in the iconic suffragette colours: green for hope and spring, white for purity in private and public life, and violet for freedom and dignity. Encircled by a crown of exquisite Japanese glass beads in the same soft hues, this brooch captures the spirit of the suffragettes with every detail.
From the side of the face, a cascade of delicate gold chains gracefully descends, swaying with your every move and enhancing the brooch's beauty. Measuring approximately 3" in length and 1 1/2" in width, this piece is both luxurious and meaningful, a tribute to the brave women who fought for our rights.
Its reflective light and gentle violet, white, and green colours will not only decorate any face with elegance but also make it appear younger and more radiant. Own a piece of history and celebrate your independence with this extraordinary brooch.

Unless the item is listed as a 'new' item, evidence of normal age/use should be expected. The photos on our listings are never stock photos as we take all of our own photos, so what you see is what you get. Please look over your desired item closely before purchasing.
Now, we mostly sell vintage jewellery and "new old stock" that has never been worn, that come out of various estates. This means that it has been pre-owned. That means that it could have some light wear, and possibly some tarnish. IF there are any flaws, such as missing stones, or damaged stones, we will definitely make that clear in the listing description. We just need our customers to understand that we generally do not sell brand new items.
Our shop has a good working knowledge of vintage jewellery, as most of what we sell has been pre-owned and will thus have some form of wear. Please use common sense when bidding. We cannot possibly cover every detail in a listing, and will thus describe the listings as best as we can. For example, shades of blue are subjective and so are concepts of what looks "too good" to be vintage, or what is "too worn" to be acceptable to a collector, as everyone has their own tastes.
If you have specific needs, do your part, and contact me.
We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
