Lovely Vintage Gold-tone Faux emerald Little Brooch from Coro Jewellery Company

This is a small, gold-tone brooch in the shape of a star. It was produced by the Coro jewellery company and is approximately 3/4 inch in diameter. The brooch features a faux emerald and faux diamond and is in good vintage condition. The brooch is likely from mid 20th century. The gold tone means it's not made of solid gold but rather plated or coated with a layer of gold, which gives it a shiny, gold-like appearance without the high cost of solid gold. The faux emerald and diamond mean that the gemstones are not real but are instead made from other materials such as glass.

We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
